Most of the chords in this song are played mostly from the 2nd , 4th  and 7th frets etc. I use my thumb for chord shapes, use bar chords if easier. Chris plays this song on a Takamine EN - 10 or 15 Dreadnought I think. As for the rhythm, listen to CD if it's any help, MP3, work away etc.
